How to Grow Trees and Roll Rarities in Carve Wood
Trees are the heart of Carve Wood. Rarity drives income, so understanding how rolling and growth work lets you target the best trees.
Tree Rarities
Trees come in four rarities. Higher rarities sell for more and regrow slower:
| Rarity | Biomes | Regrowth | Sell | Drop rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 1 | 90 s | 12 | ~65% |
| Rare | 1, 2 | 4 min | 18 | ~25% |
| Epic | 2, 3 | 12 min | 25 | ~8% |
| Legendary | 3 | 35 min | 35 | ~2% |
Drop rates are community-measured averages, not official values. They shift slightly with axe tier and worker count.
Rolling New Trees
Use the roll button in your lumber yard to get a new tree. Each roll picks a rarity based on the current odds.
Boost Your Luck
- 2x Roll Luck gamepass (329 R$) doubles your rare, epic and legendary spawn chances — the best long-term purchase.
- Rare tree strategy: even a Rare is a big step up from Common, so roll until you hold at least one.
Biome Unlock Order
- Biome 1 — where you start; only Common and Rare trees.
- Biome 2 — unlocks later; introduces Epic trees.
- Biome 3 — the endgame; Epic and Legendary only.
Reaching the second biome is also a prerequisite for your first rebirth (see Rebirth).
Regrowth and Planning
Because higher rarities regrow much slower (up to 35 minutes for Legendary), plan your yard so you always have a fast Common or Rare tree ready while waiting on the big ones. The Arborist worker cuts biome-1 regrowth by 30%.
