The Hollow Event in Carve Wood

Carve Wood is one of the partnered experiences in The Hollow, Roblox’s platform-wide Halloween event running from October 22 to November 2, 2026. Completing the short in-game questline awards you the Spooky Carver badge and 20 event Tickets, which you can spend on The Hollow event rewards in the event hub.

The event quest is self-contained — you do not need a big lumber yard or rare axes to finish it. The walkthrough below comes from community-verified videos and forum guides posted October 23-24, since the developer has not published official steps.

What The Hollow is

The Hollow is a Roblox-wide Halloween event with a central hub (a haunted theater maze) and dozens of partnered games. In each partnered game you finish a themed quest to earn an exclusive badge plus 20 Tickets, and Tickets can buy event rewards in the hub instead of running the maze challenges. Carve Wood carries the official [The Hollow] suffix on its Roblox page while the event is live, so it is one of the Ticket-earning games.

You can claim event rewards any time before November 2 — after that the event closes.

How to start the Carve Wood quest

1. Join Carve Wood. If your save is fresh, complete the quick starting tutorial first.
2. Look for The Hollow button on the right side of your screen and click it.
3. Press Accept Quest in the menu that opens.

The questline, step by step

1. Watch the cutscene. You can spam-click to skip through it faster.
2. Plant the special event seed you receive immediately. Community guides report it grows in about 4 minutes — the fastest way to get a harvestable special tree in the game.
3. Harvest the special tree and carve the sword it gives you. Take your time on the carving — accuracy still matters, and a broken carve may need a retry.
4. Enter the portal that appears after the carving.
5. Fight the boss. It is a simple fight: follow the on-screen direction prompts and keep moving. Community guides rate it the easiest boss of the event games.

Finishing the boss fight completes the questline. The Spooky Carver badge is awarded along with 20 Tickets — check the event hub to see the Tickets land on your account.

What the rewards are

• Spooky Carver badge — a permanent Carve Wood badge. It existed in the game’s badge list since October 13 but stayed locked at zero holders until The Hollow went live; within two days it had been earned more than 84,000 times, so it is the event’s badge.
• 20 event Tickets — the standard payout for a partnered game. Tickets are pooled across every game in the event and spent on reward items in The Hollow hub.

Tips

• The whole questline takes roughly 10 minutes on a fresh save, and it pays the same 20 Tickets whether you are a new player or a rebirth veteran.
• If the special seed or The Hollow button is missing, rejoin — event spawns occasionally fail to load on first join.
• The event ends November 2; the badge and Tickets stop being earnable after that.
