Rebirth Guide in Carve Wood — Permanent Multipliers
Rebirth is Carve Wood’s long-term progression system — trade your current progress for a permanent cash multiplier.
When Can You Rebirth?
You can rebirth once you reach the second biome milestone. Until then, focus on tree rarity, axe and worker upgrades.
What You Keep vs. Lose
Keep:
- Biome unlocks
- Offline growth
- Your seed/code inventory
Lose (reset):
- Cash
- Logs
- Worker levels
- Axe levels
Because upgrades reset, it’s smart to spend down your cash into workers/axes right before rebirthing, and to rebirth only when the multiplier outweighs rebuilding.
How the Multiplier Scales
Each rebirth adds a permanent cash multiplier. Community-measured curve:
| Rebirth | Cash multiplier |
|---|---|
| 1 | +25% |
| 2 | +60% |
| 3 | +110% |
| 4–6 | keeps climbing (≈4x by Rebirth 6) |
The curve flattens at higher rebirths, so the early +25% → +110% jumps are the most impactful per run.
Rebirth-Unlockable Content
Reaching Rebirth 3 unlocks the hidden Rebirth Foreman worker (4.2x chop, +12% per sale) — the strongest worker in the game, and a big reason to push past Rebirth 2.
